Children and Families

Children are very important to God.

“Let the little children come; do not hinder them, for such belongs the kingdom of God” Mark 10:14

The significance here goes beyond just showing how much Jesus loves and cares for children, for Jesus then said that “whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it” (Mark 10:15). So not only are children just as much members of God’s kingdom as adults, we as adults need to learn from them if we are to come to the fullness of God’s kingdom.

This understanding is at the core of children’s ministry at Resurrection Anglican Church. As we interact with children in the church services and in our children’s ministry classes, we remember that the same Holy Spirit guides all of us as God’s children. We all need each other and are growing together as the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13-21; Ephesians 4:11-16).

Meet Our Team

  • Anna Campbell

    NURSERY

Anna lives with her husband, Brad, and 3 daughters in the Coon Rapids area. She has been involved with Children's Ministry since 2022, and She believes there is much we can learn from our younger sisters and brothers in Christ, if we are only willing to listen and appreciate what they bring to the table. She strives to be an advocate not only for children but parents as well and wants to make sure parents are feeling seen, heard, and supported in their partnership with the church. In her spare time she really enjoys getting tattoos, crafting, thrifting, and watching Studio Ghibli movies with her husband. She is a big fan of authentic relationships that allow for messes, big emotions, and the freedom to just be who you are.

  • Sara Bramsen

    GODLY PLAY (K-2)

Sara grew up as a missionary kid in Argentina, before coming back to the US to pursue degrees in French and literature at Oklahoma Baptist University (BA), Kentucky (MA) and Notre Dame (PhD). Sara and her husband, Andy, were married in 2005 and she is continuing her teaching career by homeschooling their four children. Sara volunteered in children’s ministry at our sister church (Church of the Redeemer) for a decade, serving on their Children’s Leadership Team from 2019-2024. Sara enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading aloud with her family, and is excited about sharing God’s great story with the children of Resurrection through the Godly Play curriculum.
